Hello and welcome to the ultimate German tank hunter. The super heavy tank destroyer based on the E-100 chassis, the JagdPanzer E-100 (aka STUG E-100, JpZE-100) is a very different vehicle when compared to its peers.
Overview:
The JagdPanzer is one of the Tier 10 tanks that start of elite right away, so there is nothing to research. Only new equipment, consumables and crew skills can increase the vehicle's performance.
The JagdPanzer is gigantic. As big as the E-100, this is one of the biggest vehicles in the game. This makes it an incredibly easy target, especially for artillery. It also makes it very easy to spot, like a high end heavy tank. True, it may at times help. For an example it can lessen the enemy vehicle’s slope or be used to cover reloading allies. It can also ram smaller vehicles and deal significant damage. But the smaller JagdTiger was already enormous and pushing the usefulness of size to its limit for a TD, so we can say that size is one of the biggest problems for this TD.
Its gun is both good and bad. The damage per shot is incredible, and it does scare almost every vehicle in the game. It can also kill some T8 tanks with one hit (like ISU-152) and two-shot some T10 tanks. Its accuracy is decent, and the penetration is very good with workable aim time. Unfortunately, it also has a low RoF and low DPM, almost like an artillery piece. This means that if a shot is missed/bounces/is absorbed, the effectiveness of the gun severely diminishes. Things are not made easier by the fact that the velocity of the shells is not all that high. It’s a gun more akin to the Soviet BL-10 of tier 8 and 9 than the 128mm gun of the Jtiger, which can really mess up the flow people that have grinded through the entire German TD line are used to.
Mobility is another key factor for every TD. The JagdPanzer E-100 has a decent enough top speed, but really lacks acceleration and turning speed. It is again unlike the JagdTiger which was really fast at turning and accelerating. Given enough time and a relatively flat terrain, it can go faster than the T110E3, but at short distances, the American vehicle can get to cover more quickly
Thankfully armour is actually good. Upper frontal plate can bounce even other T10 TD guns. Superstructure is quite tough and is also covered by a big 300mm mantlet. Side armour comes with thick skirts that provide some HE protection and add spaced armour. The lower hull is its only reliable weak spot on the front, but damn the transmission is behind it. This makes it a potential fire hazard or a place from which the engine can be damaged. Thankfully, it has a lot of health points for a TD.
This vehicle works best in a position in which the lower hull is covered. Thankfully It does have somewhat decent gun depression, despite the back mounted superstructure. Even with the relatively decent accuracy, since missing or bouncing hurts this machine so much its most effective in ambush situation at medium distances and behind corners (since few bushes can hide it). Its also a good idea to bring platoon mates to cover the vehicle's flanks and cover it whilst its reloading. Actually some vehicle like the T95 can be used to cover the weak lower plate and create a (relatively) mobile steel wall with guns.
Price: 6 100 000
Camouflage: Quite Bad

Pros:
- Incredible damage per shot.
- Good armour all around.

JagdPanzer E-100 is not an easy vehicle. Its 20+ sec loading time can be pure torture. Its also not easy to hide, thanks to its insane size.

The JagdPanzer is based on the E-100 heavy tank hull, which gives it very good protection. Upper frontal hull is equivalent to 320mm of armour which means that even the most powerful guns in the game can bounce from it. The superstructure is also quite tough, boasting some 250mm of armor and 260 effective armour. It is penetrable by powerful tier 10 guns at close range, but the big 300mm mantlet means that any stray shell might just be absorbed or simply bounce. The real weak spots are the small commander’s cupola on top of the citadel, which is relatively small and hard to hit at a distance, and the lower hull. Lower hull is 150mm, but its not as sloped as the upper hull, giving effective protection of slightly under 200mm of armour. This plate should be hidden as well as possible, because the transmission is behind it, which may mean a damaged engine or a fire… and this slow vehicle with a damaged engine can turn into a nightmare.
Side and rear are actually relatively well armoured. The side skirts are thick and may absorb some HE damage from artillery units or act as spaced armour and absorb an extra shell.
Suspension:
JagdPanzer E-100 Ketten / Max.capacity 150 / Turn speed 20 deg per sec.
Suspension is more than enough to carry around the JagdPanzer + modules + a small tank. Turning speed is bad though. It is actually the worst of all tier 10 TDs, quite unlike how the JagdTiger was. Still, it’s not incredibly bad, but keep in mind that unlike its predecessor, turning is not a strongpoint.
*Why is traverse 2 degrees lower than on the E-100 I dont know. :Smile_confused:
Engine:
Maybach HL 295 Ausf. B / 1200 horse power / 15% chance of fire.
The engine is the same as on the E-100. Unfortunately the vehicle is just too heavy, so it’s not capable of keeping its speed that well. This means, that even though the TD E-100 has a higher top speed than the T110E3, at short distances it can’t accelerate as well. Still, if given the chance, the E-100 can reach its top speed on even terrain.
*Why the hell is the ausf.B version of this engine the same as the ausf. A? I think it would be a good idea to give it at least slightly more horse power, or lower % chance of fire.
Radio:
10WSc – 720 meters
Standard German tier 10 radio.
Guns:
17cm PaK 46
RoF: 2,33
Penetration: 299/420/85
Average damage: 1050/1050/1400
Accuracy (100m): 0,35
Aim time: 2,9
This gun is the JagdPanzer E-100’s true strength and weakness. Its damage per shot is second to nothing, almost like a high end artillery round. It can kill some tier 7 and 8 vehicle in just one shot and 2-shot some tier 10 tanks. Its accuracy is also relatively good with decent enough aim time. Penetration is very high and only thickly armoured and then sloped even more heavy vehicles such as the (e.g Maus, E-100, IS-4)can bounce shots. Despite all its power, this gun suffers from lack of sufficient DPM and very low RoF, which means every missed or bounced shot will slash at the potential damage of the vehicle. Also, this gun’s playstyle is different when compared with previous German TDs that relied on Accuracy, RoF and DPM.
Premium ammo is HEAT which does not lose penetration with distance but does not get the normalization against sloped armour. The value is so high, it can usually just punch through tanks even when they slope themselves.
Comparison with its peers:
JagdPanzer E-100 vs WaffleFragger E-100
JagdPanzer will be the slower but slightly better armoured vehicle. Both have 17cm guns.
JagdPanzer vs AMX Foch 155
The Foch is much faster and a lot more maneuverable. It has worse aim time and damage per shot but needs only 10 seconds to deal ove
